A farewell to the happiest days of my life!

Two days back, The most important phase of my happy days came to an end. My heart slows down when I think that I'm not going to stay in this place anymore! This is a  very nostalgic feeling.

When i visited my school all alone on a Sunday, I sat in my spot in that empty classroom. I could hear the voices saying, ' Potentiometer, Tomorrow there is going to be a sure test from all NCERT questions, sinA+cosA, Find the integral of,  Get out of classroom, Not in uniform, Where is the leave letter? . People screaming my name in all possibilities like ' Janavi, Jaan, Janu, John, Jimmy, Osheen, Jim Jam' and what not?  I'm for sure going to miss all these. All these words are baffling my mind, keep reverberating and is haunting me.

The soul inside me is questioning me 'What are you going to do next? Where are you right now? Where will you be tomorrow? Whats your destiny?'. I was just shouting back saying 'Calm down lady, there is still time to think about all these stuff'

I'm facing a weird mixture of emotions from tears, happiness, frustration, disappointment to anxiety. Those indefatigable teachers who sacrificed many things for us to teach us what life is. Ah, and finally friends, my lips get sweetened when i say the word.

Our friends were our souls, our reflections with whom we shared many things. We have argued, cried and laughed with them. So we are surely going to miss them like anything. Though whatever misunderstandings we had with our friends, in the end we will always remain close.

Of course, this situation comes for each and every student and it is indeed inevitable. So what can be done? Just accept the fact and move on with life. I would just request you all to stay in touch with your school friends and obviously don't forget the gurus who taught you everything and always be in touch with them.

Because our gurus would love to keep visiting their old students and they kind of long for it too. If any of you still has those stupid disputes with your old schoolmates,  just give them a call and talk to them. If not immediately, you will know later that that call was not a bad thing to do after all. Going to miss school like hell.

A chance

Some few weeks back while  I was on my way to tuition, as usual i was looking all around and suddenly a scene got clicked as a picture into my mind and it just never went. A picture which disturbed me very much. A small boy was pasting a poster and the poster was about education.

The poster had the following words"stepping ahead to future". I couldn't stop getting this sight out of my eyes. I was feeling so bad for that kid. How ironic is that he cant even read what he was pasting but he would not been in that position if he was able to read that poster. He would have probably been studying in some school.

Children are indulged in labour work because of their family background. When students like me were having all facilities to study, we are still aloof and lazy. And there are children like him who cant even afford a pencil but have the passion and interest to learn. There is a lot of difference between the work we do and they do. We work to fill our heart while they work to fill their stomach.

I really don't want to differentiate as "them" and "we", its "us" the children of our country. So, move on and help them. Give them a chance too because,  in the end all are our brothers and sisters. Every child is special and people who are well off can adopt a child and educate them. This is just a small service which we can do.  Think about it, because we might lose a very good doctor, an engineer, an artist, a singer and more.

Just think about it.

Back to the future

"There are 2 days in a week about which and upon which i never worry. two carefree days kept secretly free from fear and worries. the two days are yesterday and tomorrow" - Robert.J.Burette

Because these are the only two days which are not in your hands. The "Yesterday" could be changed when it was in our hands during our past but since we couldn't do anything about it, we just state it  as 'bad fate'. There in nothing called as fate.

'What you sow, so you reap' . Each person's ball is in his court and never ever blame others. Thinking of the past is a real acid test and of course you have to learn some experience from it.

Let's say that you are climbing up a mountain and you have reached half way. Now the mountain has become very steep and you feel very difficult to climb up. Will you return on the same way you came or you will move ahead? I guess no.

Or let's say you are an athlete and running so fast, you suddenly feel very tired. So will you stop running and return on the same track you had crossed? Never. So just erase the harsh memories of whatever happened in the past. Today is the only day which is in our control.

'Act-Act in living present' - This was a line from the poem 'Psalms of life' . So just relax and forget about everything that happened yesterday. Because thinking of the past is the archilles' heel of achieving above board in future.

Heaven

Waking up from a sweet dream, feeling very lazy, stretching your arms and making sweet noises like kitties is a heavenly feeling. Looking at your watch and feel 'Oh god, it's just 6:30 AM. Damn, I could have just continued that dream' . So you press your head against the pillows, feeling the softness of the bed it and eyes shrinking trying to recollect the dream. Once you recollect it, your lips automatically start smiling. All of a sudden your body feels light like floating in the air.

The time is 7:30 AM and slowly somebody outside your world is gently tapping you saying ' Sweetheart, the time is 7:30, please wake up my honey bunch'. And then when you slowly open your eyes, eyes automatically gets bigger in shock because your mom is shouting 'Arey, its 7:30! Get up and make it fast'. The tensed fast words of your mom make you get up from the bed half heartedly.

So you are lifting a chair and keeping it near the window. Slowly you are relaxing yourself by watching the birds chirping. You are feeling the cold breeze of wind touching your face. Teeny tiny drops of rain water is falling over you and vanishes in a second. Then you are drinking a hot coffee or dark chocolate and slowly your nostrils are absorbing the delicious vapours.

Your eye lid is lifting up and you are able to feel the moisture in your eyes. You are then drawing smileys and the name of your loved ones on the window glass and just blushing without any reason.  Wow. I think this is heaven. Feel it.

A hypothetical question

I have heard many saying that opposite poles attract each other. It suits not only for magnets but even for human beings. Whoever it is a friend or a love we always tend to like those who are completely contrast to our characters.

I have seen this even in my own house. My parents are like fire and ice. While my dad is a very practical and broad minded guy, my mom is very religious, always concerned about our welfare and emotional. She always shows through some means that she likes us a lot. But my dad's concept is a little different. He says that it's not like only when we shower our love people will come to know we like them. I wondered.

They are just like mice and a cat. I always ask my dad 'How are you managing your partner who is completely opposite to your character? Wont it lead to many misunderstandings?'. My dad says 'You wont understand these things. We can have an amazing life. Of course there will be misunderstandings but the bond will become stronger after every such small and sweet fight'.

It sounded very odd to me, so I asked everybody about their opinions on this. Each and every person told me the same thing. Yet I realised only when I was bit impressed by a guy who was completely opposite to my personality. Our life will actually be interesting when our partner is contrast to us. Life would go smooth too when we are of the same poles, there will be a good understanding but they both will be having the same choice, same taste and same character, which would bore after a point of time. So it sounded good to me. Since yesterday was my parent's wedding anniversary, let me show you a pic of this cute couple.

The two rulers- Mind and Heart

Some say they are practical and some say they are emotional well, I say 'who knows?'.
We are the agricultural land where the crops (the characters) are grown by the heart, and the crops are made to grow better by sprinkling fertiliser over it by the mind.

Every land has some special properties due to which only some particular crops could be grown in it. and only special fertilisers can be used to enrich the quality of the crop. Similarly every person has some special character which are stamped in them when they are born. When we were young, we didn't know what was good and bad.

Our immature heart at that time chooses some special qualities which they feel as good. Though it may feel bad to others. And that quality keeps on growing bit by bit as we grow physically. There comes a stage where our mind comes into play. Its tells us what is good and bad with the little experience it has which was sowed in us without our knowledge.

It may come and go when we think of a conclusion but we don't take it seriously because our heart knows our psychology and gives a decision which are always wanted by us and defeats the mind. When at one period we realise that a decision taken by us (by heart) went wrong.

Our mind slowly tells ' I told you, but you didn't listen'. This keeps on repeating for a while and at one period you will become a worshipper of mind. I'm not telling not to follow your heart. I'm just saying that it just gives you temporary pleasure. The more practical you are you will come to understand life very well.
